Description: As a courtesy to the ride leader, we ask that you pre-book for this ride. Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 19-21km (12-13 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. This is a pre-bookable ride. Climb to Sparsholt Firs, (the alternative way up), Seven Barrows then a jaunt round the Vale.
Riders: Eddie Little Jan McCabe Jo Little Sharon Bedford Riders = 4 Report: We delayed the start until 11am to allow the heavy rainstorms to pass through and to let the roads dry out. Turned out to be a good strategy because we then cycled in (mostly) sunshine and were able to admire the autumn colours. Lovely company too.
