Description:A ride out to Badbury clumps to enjoy the bluebells before taking refreshments at Faringdon coffee house.We'll cycle out through the Springline villages as far as Kingston Lisle then drop down to Uffington. A climb over Fernham Hill will bring us to the Coxwells, we'll pass the Great Barn then climb up to Badbury clumps. We'll take time to walk around the woods to enjoy the bluebells and views before descending into Faringdon. After refreshments we'll drop down to Thrupp and return to Grove via Littlemoor and Hatford. A round trip of around 31 miles, taken at an average 2* pace. Please let me know if you are planning to come. Half-day ride (45-55km / 30-40 miles), at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph), with a refreshment stop. |
