Leader:
Steve Swanton
Start Time:
2:00 pm
Start Location:
OMH
Description:
Our Annual Spring Ride aimed at those who haven't been cycling much over the winter and want to dust off their bike and get the pedals turning again. Newcomers will be very welcome and it's an opportunity for club members to bring family and friends. Please note that children are very welcome but need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This will be a gentle ride around the quiet lanes of the Vale of White Horse visiting the villages of Denchworth, Lyford, Southmoor and Charney Bassett. We'll stop regularly to catch our breath and take in the views and we'll a stop by the shop in Southmoor for refreshments (or ice creams or Easter eggs) about half- way round. The full route will be about 16 miles but there are several short-cut options for those who would prefer a shorter ride.
Report:
Glorious warm afternoon with hardly a cloud in the sky and a great turn-out to make the most of it. Full report and some pics to come.
