Great to explore the lovely villages of the Vale, particularly the church and manor house at Longworth and the views over the edge into the Thames Valley. We tried out Southmoor Village Hall for our cafe stop, but they were about to close and almost out of cake, so we diverted to Munch who looked after us well. Thanks to all for a great ride in great company.

Riders:Angie FisherBarry Stanton Des Higgs John Groves Karl Blake Louise Bowers Nick Dunton Pauline Clark Peter Dalgliesh Riders = 9 Report:We set off with 10, but Roger discovered a puncture before we got out of the car park. So then we were 9. We took the Spring Line road along to Ashbury into quite a strong headwind but it was pleasantly cooling as temperatures were above average. The Baking Bee cafe looked after us very well with food, drinks and good service. Not so many hills on the way back (in fact only downs) so we made good speed with the wind behind us.A very good enjoyable ride with good company and no problems.
