Jane was out on her new Thorn Audax for the first time and showing a quick turn of speed (which newcomer Julie did well to keep up with).On the return, when the group split near Kingston Bagpuize, Steve decided to chase Laurent and co. bound for Stanford, who he thought had gone the wrong way, while Jane waited at the junction in confusion before deciding to follow him. Having realised his mistake Steve turned back. Perhaps it was the unfamiliar riding positions on their new bikes but Steve caught us up while Jane ended up at the Southmoor roundabout... The rest of us enjoyed the super views of mars on the way home. Steve S | ||
