Description:Weekly indoor turbo session of approximately 1 hour's duration, will comprise of a warm up, a workout focusing on different elements of training and a warm down. Different leaders plan and deliver each session, accompanied by a soundtrack. Amount of exercise is determined individually so sessions are suitable for riders of all levels. Turbo set up time from 6.30. Flag drops at 7:00pm sharpThe antithesis of Katherine's strength and endurance session last week....its Criterium time. A lot of short sharp efforts, maximum duration only 2 minutes, but its high speed cardio vascular and muscle fibre recruitment we are attending to tonight. Sprint and recover, build pace then pounce! In essence, its a way of perfecting pacing and shifting from different levels of effort without dropping to resting each time. Rest will however be available between repetitions of the intervals . All will be explained, but as usual expect a thorough workout . Preloading with fluids is good, but personally I would recommend NOT eating right beforehand....
