Description:Social rides up to half day - 32km (20 miles), usually with a cafe stop, at a riding pace of 16-20km/h (10-12mph). Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as it may be cancelled or the start time changed.This week is to the Letcombes towards childrey crossroads and turn left to westcot for coffee stop kindly offered at Lizzies house. After coffee we will go back Childrey, Challow Denchworth. Lizzie would appreciate a contribution of £2.50 towards the coffee and cake please. |

As we approached Childrey we decided to carry on through Childrey to Westcot rather than turn left at the crossroads. When we arrived at Lizzies for coffee what a delicious spread of cakes and muffins savoury and sweet waiting for us, really fantastic thank you Lizzie, my favourite was the chocolate cake made with red kidney beans. After a long coffee stop with plenty of banter we headed back to childrey, Goosey Denchworth and home. | ||
