Riders:Des HiggsDiane Stuckey Gary Woodhead Ginny Henderson Jan McCabe Nigel Stuckey Richard Divall Steve Swanton Riders = 8 Report:Three riders with Gary leading set out from Millbrook square around Grove, west of Wantage and on to the B4507. Left through the Letcombes and down the B4001 to Childrey. Halfway between Childrey and the A417 disaster struck when I hit a pothole and my back inner tube exploded in retaliation. A quick discussion and we decided that trying to change it in darkness was not a good idea. Thankfully, Nigel was still at the house and arrived by car ten minutes or so later. Richard and Gary set off to finish the route up the A417 and through Goosey to Denchworth. As we arrived in the car so Des was arriving having cycled from home. Richard and Gary arrived soon after as did Jan and Steve S who were too late to cycle with the group. Later Ginny arrived to join us over a cup of tea. Excellent food as always at The Fox and no complaints about the beer.Thanks guys for waiting with me until Nigel arrived. Diane | ||
