Description:This is a pre-bookable ride only. To book your place please text the ride leader on 07512645320 no sooner than the Wednesday before the ride. Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly.Leaving Wantage we’ll head down through East Challow. We’ll then turn off the A417 on to Circourt Road. We can then enjoy some nice quiet rural lanes & village’s, passing along Goosey Lane, Charney Bassett, Gainsfield, Hatford, Shellingford, Fernham, Uffington, Kingston Lisle, Sparsholt/ Sparsholt Firs. From this point we can all enjoy the nice decent through to the Letcombes finishing in Wantage. Ride Distance. 44 km / 27.4 mi. +335m / -335 m. + 1,099 ft / - 1,098 ft. |

Report:A nice ride with lots of sunny intervals & some great views + a couple of small climbs thrown in for good measure. Fawler Hill & Sparsholt Climb which everyone managed very well, + all riders managing an average speed 14.4 mi/h. The back roads were nice & quite with the usual pot holes to dodge.This was the longest evening club ride for this year so far. Thanks to Lisa, Chris & Mike for being great company. | ||
