Description:Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly. Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. 1.5-2 hour ride at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph)Hackpen Hill and 7 Barrows. (2nd try...). I am proposing this route as it is one of my favourites and we (wisely) avoided the hills last Tuesday. |

However, that is well worth doing in return for the swoosh down towards Lambourne and the lovely ride on the road past Seven Barrows. All of this was enhanced by the low sun on the hills and almost ideal weather with maybe just a touch of chill in the air. The Seven Barrows road is one of my favourites and it was great to introduce it to a couple of people in the group who had not cycled there before.Many thanks to Des for being Sweep, Anke for the photo and all those on the ride for a very enjoyable evening. | ||
