Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. NB THIS IS AN EARLY START TO ENABLE US TO DO SEVEN BARROWS EARLY IN THE SEASON. WE WILL LEAVE PROMPTLY AT 6.15 The Ride Leaders work hard to organise the rides and it helps them greatly to know numbers at least a day in advance. Whilst there may be rare occasions where this may not be practical, please do everything you can to let the Ride Leader know if you are joining a ride at least 24 hours before. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time for the ride leaders briefing and a prompt start to the ride. 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). It was another lovely evening for a ride, though the headwind as we went up and down Hackpen was very annoying. The first time I've had to pedal going downhill for quite a while! It did mean we had a great ride as we went along Sevenbarrows and we returned to Grove in good time. The earlier start was definitely worth it. Thanks to everyone for being a great group to ride with and for following good ride group etiquette. With so many riders it could have been difficult but we all got through the road works and traffic without any problems.
