Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. The Ride Leaders work hard to organise the rides and it helps them greatly to know numbers at least a day in advance. Whilst there may be rare occasions where this may not be practical, please do everything you can to let the Ride Leader know if you are joining a ride at least 24 hours before.Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time for the ride leaders briefing and a prompt start to the ride. 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Just before we departed Grove, John presented Joy with her trophy, best rider for the past year. Congratulations Joy!! We split into two groups with John kindly leading group two. The weather conditions were perfect for the ride, cloudy sun and an air temperature of around 19c. Traffic conditions were reasonably good. We were treated to a sighting of a Barn Owl which flew in front of us for a short distance in Westcot. This being our third sighting of a Barn Owl on an evening club ride for this season. Everyone made light work of White Horse Hill. The views from the top were as always perfect. A lovely evening spent with a nice group. Thanks to John for the group photos and for leading group two. | ||
