Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly.Tonights ride takes us south over Chain Hill toward Farnborough and West Ilsley. Then back via Brightwalton Manor Road to Grove. This is a hilly ride with nearly 500m of climbing in 38 km. N.B. If the rain continues I will re-plan the ride to make it more manageable - either way please bring your lights! Barry sadly left us early on (was it because I didn't answer your text?! . Fortunately our numbers were swelled by Karen joining us at the top of Chain Hill. The weather was absolutely fantastic and the descent into West Illsey was beautiful. And the hills kept coming ... Up to Catmore and then Brightwalton and on to Wooley and finally back up the 338 to a splendid 'whoop' down Manor Road. Thanks to all for braving the climbing and to Eddie for sweeping and Roger for taking the last stretch home. | ||
