Description:Social rides up to 24km (15 miles), usually with a cafe stop, at a riding pace of 13-16km/h (8-10mph). Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as it may be cancelled or the start time changed.A ride out through the Letcombes, stopping for coffee at Childrey, depending on weather if we carry on through Kingston Lisle Uffington and home. |

Riders:Des HiggsDiana Whidborne John Groves Karl Blake Lorna Swanton Martyn Wigmore Patrick O'Leary Paul Bentley Stephanie Haddrell Susan Holdroyd Riders = 10 Report:We started off well weather looking good, although we knew the forecast was for rain to come in.As we went down into Letcombe Regis the road was flooded, Paul and Patrick very kindly tested the depth of water, we then decided to go back on the B4507 to Childrey stopping for coffee at the childrey stores, which was very sociable and time to decide on a route home, to avoid the flooding in Denchworth. We returned home through Childrey, taking the bridleway to Challow heading back to Wantage. The day and route very different to my plan but nice company and good fun. | ||
