Description:A ride out to Ashbury for coffee.Out via Goosey, Baulking, Uffington, up via Knighton Hill to coffee at Ashbury. Back via Fernham, Shellingford, Hatford Gainfield, Charney then home. Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Sociable ride of 24-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 18-20km/h (11-13 mph). |

It was nice to welcome Jayne to the group - a fit and competent rider. We finally got to coffee (after the leader had made a pilot error at the start of the only hill of the day). Service was very slow at Ashbury Stores as only one member of staff on.Seemed like a headwind all the way but we still kept a good pace. Paul decided to leave at Fernham to extend his ride. The rest of us arrived back in Grove ready for another cup of coffee. A very good group to lead with no problems at all. Cheers! | ||
