Daytime 2* Thursday Ride	2*

Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Sociable ride of 24-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 18-20km/h (11-13 mph). An extended loop via Stanford and Hinton Waldrist to get to coffee at Munch in Southmoor. Then home via Fyflield and Hanney. 23 miles / 37km

Great to welcome Terry's son Matthew and also 'other Terry' Gashe. We also welcomed Jayne back for her second ride with us. We split into two groups for most of the ride, and thanks to Barry for helping out by leading the second group. There was a lot of traffic about and we had more than our fair share of impatient drivers, but overall it went well. We made an impromptu decision to drop down from Hinton Waldrist to Duxford to see the river, which was looking very fine although surprisingly deep and fast flowing - presumably the result of recent thunderstorms. A great coffee stop at Munch in Southmoor gave us the chance to catch uo with the 1* riders before heading home. Thanks to all for your company and a fun ride.
