Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Sociable ride of 24-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 18-20km/h (11-13 mph). Weather forecast looks kind, therefore a revisit to Appleton Community Shop. A slightly different route to Appleton.....

We took a slightly different route to Appleton, the aim being to make crossings of the A420 either by bridge or with a central refuge. Tim was left a little bemused by the hot drink arrangements at the Community Shop - he was sat outside waiting for his hot chocolate to arrive, until it was pointed out to him that self service is the order of the day! There were a number of pressing appointments after the ride (yours truly included) so there was no post-ride coffee.
