Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride (particularly if you have forgotten to book) if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled. Faringdon Coffee House via Littleworth. Please note that this route includes a short section of the A420. I should however avoid most of the south westerly headwind. |

Riders:Angie FisherBarry Stanton Chris Marchant Des Higgs Katherine Boyce Louise Bowers Martin Hook Pauline Clark Roger Postbeschild Terry Ryland Riders = 10 Weather:  Report:An excellent turnout of 10 riders, including Louise, new to the group.The route out to Faringdon was chosen to minimise the effect of the strong S to SW wind - in the main, it worked! Coffee was taken at a favourite independant cafe, Faringdon Coffee House, where the coffee and samosas were up to their usual high standard. Apart from the climb up Folly Hill, it was pretty much downhill all the way home......well, a ride leader would say that! As is the custom, further coffee was enjoyed by a few of us on our return to Grove. Thanks to Des for leading the second group. Hopefully, Louise will have enjoyed herself sufficiently to return! | ||
