Report:A select group of the 3 of us set off from Grove. Unfortunately Susan (the original ride leader) and Lorna were both unwell. It was a beautiful sunny morning and it was lovely to be out.We rode up to Southmoor via Denchworth and Hanney. We thought we’d try the village hall coffee stop as it has been a long while since club riders visited there. There was a choir singing ( I remember going around Christmas several years back when the choir was there and we all joined in the songs). The ladies making the coffee were very pleased to see us and made us very welcome, but we couldn’t really chat over the choir singing so we left quite promptly after our drinks were finished. We returned via Charney and Asti Stud to Denchworth where Sarah left to return home and Susie and I returned to Grove still in the lovely sunshine.

The group was large so we split into two with John T leading the second 6 (many thanks - wouldn't have managed without you). We went out via Goosey, Baulking and Fernham then up the first climb of the day to the A420 and the cut through to Faringdon Community College (one person got slightly lost here but we managed to regroup). The coffee shop was excellent as usual - no complaints there. We left Faringdon via Thrupp and up the second hill to Littleworth. Quite quiet on the A420, not so bad, and on to Hatford then to Grove via Gainfield, Charney and Denchworth.A really enjoyable ride with good company and no problems. Thanks, all!
