Report:
Very good turnout for the DA AGM this year. Steve S. and Eve returned to the DA committee as Publicity Officer and Registrar respectively, while Mary has joined the committee for the first time as West Oxon Section Rep (while Laurent is now our DA Rep). It was hard work filling the three Ordinary Committee Member posts though!
Sue and Mavis are forming a sub-committee with Helen B and Vera to choose new DA colours/designs, etc for cycling tops, etc. So any bright ideas to them please. Pat Hurt has agreed to take on the editorship of the Oxford Cyclist Magazine (brave man!). Ed Lehmann has returned enthused after a weekend's training as a CTC Right2Ride rep. He is already getting involved, having placed an objection to the Cow Lane proposals in Didcot.

Report:
A good turnout of 10 for the ride to the DA AGM. All was going smoothly until we reached Lyford. Unfortunately due to a combination of mud and damp, the left hand side of the sharp right hand bend was like ice. Several of us skidded and unfortunately Alan came off falling heavily and injuring his leg. Although he was able to stand up, he was in some pain and he wasn't going any further on his bike. He was able to call Marion who came to pick him up. The good news is that nothing was broken. But he has torn his abductor muscles and will be off the bike for a few weeks. We wish him a speedy recovery.
We made it to the AGM only 10 minutes after the start of the meeting, so we didn't miss much. Returned the long way round via Tubney, Longworth & Pusey. 3 of us making it all the way back to the museum for tea.

Report:
It was a cold evening and if Steve and Jane hadn't appeared, I would have been home to put my feet up for an hour with a cup of tea! However, with no excuse the 3 of us cycled out to Kingston Lisle through the Vale and back to letcombe via Childrey. 4 of the others were already warming themselves in the pub when we arrived. It has to be said, service was rather slow, but good beer and lively conversation.

Riders = 14
Report:
A healthy 14 turned out for a unseasonably warm trip up to White Horse Hill and beyond.

Despite The Ridgeway and the local bridleways being quite dry for the time of year the mud got the better of one or two riders. Apparently Kevin "came a croper" early on - get some proper tyres Kevin!

The original plan to cycle over the downs to Aldbourne soon proved too ambitious, so a courageous Pat (another faller) took us all back to his place in Lambourn for a well deserved cup of tea and some cake that we suspect was not meant for the muddy gaggle.

Refreshed, we headed back up to The Ridgeway and followed it along where another fall and a puncture slowed things down again. By the time we had got back to Manor Road the relief was all around.
