Report:
A stiff wind awaited the small band of riders but at least it was sunny. The first part of the ride was hilly going over Kingston Lisle hill and on to Knighton. Flat roads and tail winds made the going much easier with a wellcome pint at the Coach and Horses pub in Southmore. There the riders were entertained by 2 pub dogs play fighting and children in the bar, perhaps not ideal! Down the Hanney road and arriving back at Grove at 16:30 after 35 miles.

Report:
Ride (from Wantage) Abandonned due to adverse weather.

Overnight heavy rain continued into the morning. Both Ellen (City) agreed to set off to our respective starting points in the wet and see who turned up. Encountered flooding in Cane Lane and on A338 on way into Wantage but flew in with the NE'rly tail-wind. Only Richard turned up (by car). With no one else to ride decided to abandon. Ellen was just about to do the same in Broad St when she had a taker...

Harder work into the wind and rain on way home. A day for the Sunday papers....

Report:
While waiting to depart from Grove, we suddenly had to take cover when the wind rose and snow started falling. Des convinced us this was a clearing up storm and we finally got under way, with a very strong head wind all the way to Southmoor. After crossing the A420 on the foot bridge, the sun came out and the wind blew us along through Hinton Waldrist and Pusey. A sudden change of weather again at Hatford had us cycling with a strong crosswind and horizontal snow. By the time we had reached Shellingford, the sun came out and the wind had settled slightly. We had quite a pleasant ride back through Uffington, up Fawler Hill and through Kingston Lisle and Sparsholt to Childrey, where we took the path through to Challow. As we reached the path, the wind got up and I heard Des say
