Section Pub Night

Description: *NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE* Join us for a ride to The Anchor at Stanford in the Vale (Thai food or alternatively choices from lunchtime menu) or meet us at the pub at 20.00 for a meal, a pint and a chat. Lights required
Riders: Amanda Seddon David Bridge Diane Stuckey Henk Altmann (deceased) Jan McCabe Jon Seddon Kevin Fairs Nigel Stuckey Richard Divall Wenfeng Yang Riders = 10 Report: Five riders riders made their way the Anchor at Stanford in the Vale on a lovely autumn evening via West Hanney, Southmoor, Charney Bassett and Gainfield. On arrival we were met by Kevin, Wen, Nigel and Richard with David arriving a little later on his bike. We all had an excellent meal and the Thai food served at The Anchor is highly recommended. Thanks Amanda for an excellent choice of venue.

Regular Wantage Ride

Description: A full day ride of 80 to 100km, including a pub stop for lunch (Haven't yet finalised route - but planning on heading towards Burford)
Riders: Alice Robson Barry Eastwood Derek Boutle Des Higgs Diane Stuckey Ginny Henderson Glen Savegar Jan McCabe Kevin Fairs Neil Warner Nigel Stuckey Peter Clayton Rex Belcher Robert Shaw Steve Swanton Tom Millar Riders = 16 Report: It was great to see Tom out on his new tag-a-long bike for the first time, Kev and Tom only came with us as far as Denchworth, but Tom was clearly loving it, although some of the rest of use were unsure of his no feet, one handed approach as he looked round to check what was going on! The ride went out through Charney Basset, Bampton, Brize Norton, Minster Lovell and Swinbrook, to Burford where we had lunch in the Royal Oak - ther weather was pleasant enough for some of the group to choose to sit outside, luckily we arrived early, as shortly after we got there the Oxford City centre also arrived, and the place was fairly full! The return ride took us back through Filkins, Radcot Bridge, Littleworth and Gainfield, before arriving back in Wantage in time for tea and cake in the museum Jan
